With the increase in digital signage and outdoor dynamic advertising, both individuals and businesses are looking at the most cost effective way to deploy a digital signage solution and this is why they are turning to plasma flat screen displays.
Plasma technology has moved on so much further than LCD technology, this is why now a plasma screen is more cost effective, as thin (if not thinner) and depending on the make of plasma screen is comparable to an LCD flat screen display.

So when any outdoor digital signage is being deployed every eventuality has to be calculated in, this is why some plasma enclosure manufacturers offer their solutions complete with both cooling and heating solutions as standard, so all that an installer has to do is set the temperature they need the cooling to start cooling and the heater the temperature they want it to start heating and then lock the door and the digital signage hardware is in the perfect environment.

Due to the plasma enclosure being made from steel and being fully welded they provide a solid, rigid housing for the hardware, when the unit is mounted to the wall there are many options to make the installation even more secure.
The first when using a ceiling mount is to use special anti theft bolts, these are supplied with a special tool that bolt the enclosure to the mount. If the casing is being bolted directly to the wall, similar special fasteners are used, so once installed the only way to remove the enclosure and the hardware would be to grind the fasteners off and access would be very troublesome.

With the unit being lockable the vandal may try and smash the viewing window however this is a special re-enforced viewing window that has a rear support frame for additional support. The vandal may try and force the door, unfortunately for the hooligan the door is designed not to be forced and cannot be prised out due its unique design. Just remember to keep the access keys in a safe place.
