Pubs, Restaurants & Hotels Rush For The World Cup

The 2010 World Cup is just around the corner and everyone from bar, restaurant and hotel owners are counting down the hours, want to know why?

Well in the past twelve months these industries have struggled, with less people drinking in bars as well as people eating out all down to individuals and couples alike having to tighten their belts to get through the recession. On top of this hotels had many rooms un-occupied during this time with occupancy being the number one factor to profits hotels have been hit hard.

Many foreword thinking owners and managers have realised that if they offer an outdoor viewing area for the football tournament this will get customers bar to the bars, restaurants and hotels, but there is an issue with the cost and availability of IP68 screens these are screens that are weatherproof and work straight from the box, the problem is they cost in excess of £4,000 for a 42” unit, the next problem is supply as many of the suppliers have depleted stock with their replenishment stock arriving after the sporting event.

Now these desperate organisations are deciding to install outdoor LCD enclosures, these are specially designed steel cases that offer a controlled area for a standard display. These units come with anti reflective coating as standard on the viewing window ensuring sun light does not spoil the football matches, they also offer cooling as the screen does give off some heat and this heat needs dissipating.

These steel cases also offer vandal protection, just in case the results are not the desired ones and offers protection to the TV even if a frustrated fan throws a full beverage glass at the case.

LCD Enclosure Global are so busy manufacturing their range of LCD enclosure, that all holidays have been cancelled and the production team is now working on two eight hour shifts to fulfil orders. The first shift is or the World Cup and the second shift is for their LCD enclosures integrators throughout the world.

LCD Enclosure Global – anything else is a compromise.
