From digital posters to Portrait LCD enclosure solutions.
Dooh limited has been rather busy with many successful projects throughout the world of digital signage. Discover the diary of our success. From supplying a quantity of LCD enclosure solutions to San Francisco transportation to supplying supplying the London 2012 Olympics.
Our range of digital signage hardware has increased due to the success and knowledge we have in the digital signage arena.
Transit information displays, using our LCD enclosures.
In December 2011 a consultant working with the San Francisco transportation department contacted us and we supplied an (AV55) anti vandal LCD enclosure in mild steel powder coated black for a trial, in March 2012 we got the go ahead for the main order as the trial unit had been tested for 2 months against our competitors units and our solution was proven to be the most secure. The main order consisted of a further 18 standard units and 48 stainless steel LCD enclosure solutions for locations that would be exposed to salt water (near the wharf). These display enclosures are used to provide customer information from the transit company.
Digital posters in Paris, France.
In April we won a project for Charles de Gaulle airport, Paris France, the hotel chain behind the order was to advertise available hotels to tourists arriving without accommodation at affordable prices.
These standalone, 32″ digital posters were used to display content on the internal media player, the units were mounted in portrait positions and the content was updated once a week manually.
2012 Olympic project for portrait LCD enclosures.
We got a late enquiry in May for some custom portrait LCD enclosures for one of the main sponsors of the London 2012 Olympics. the project was very complex as we supplied the complete solution including the LG 47″ screen, network enabled media player and a sound system for each unit.
We got the go ahead in June to manufacture these units and we turned the around on time and within budget.
Hotel digital signage kiosks.
In April we secured a project for supplying hotel digital signage kiosks to the Intercontinental Hotel chain on 4 continents. The solution was for a way finding system for the hotel as well as an opportunity for the hotel to market external businesses to guests.
The solution consisted of a 42″ touch screen monitor with a networked media player that was supplied by the software company who also created the content.
55″ digital posters at Heathrow airport.
In May we also got enquiries for supplying large screen digital posters to Heathrow airport for a similar application to the Paris project and just recently we completed the project, but the hardware supplied was networked enabled digital posters.
Premier football clubs use our LCD enclosure solutions.
Throughout the year we have been supplying the main clubs in the premier league with our range of outdoor LCD enclosures, mainly (AV46) 46″ anti vandal LCD enclosures that are located throughout the stadiums through one of our approved installers.
Hawaiian airlines deploy our LCD enclosures for baggage handling.
In July we won a project for a our outdoor LCD enclosures for Hawaiian airlines, they needed two 55″ (AV55) anti vandal TV enclosures to be mounted externally to the airport building so the baggage handlers knew which carousel to put the bags for the recently landed planes. The project ran to cover two protective TV enclosures at every airport Hawaiian airlines fly to within the USA.
Newmarket racecourse use our Protective TV enclosures.
The world renown racecourse Newmarket, needed to provide customer information such as the winners and the non runners on the next race to facilitate this they looked at outdoor Tvs but the price was too restrictive, so they chose our digital signage enclosures.
We are currently working on several video wall projects, as well as working with many CCTV companies providing protective LCD enclosures, the future looks very promising with lots of digital menu board enquiries for both European and US applications.
